All Sales Final
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
By purchasing a ticket to an Approach the Unicorn event, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason, except as outlined below or as required by law.
Event Cancellation by Organizer
If ATU cancels an event due to circumstances beyond our control, ticket holders will receive:
- Full Refund: Complete refund of ticket purchase price
- OR Event Credit: Credit toward a future ATU event of equal or greater value
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of cancellation announcement.
Important: ATU is not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred, including but not limited to travel, lodging, or other arrangements made in connection with event attendance.
Event Postponement or Rescheduling
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket will be valid for the new date. No refunds will be provided for postponed events.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may be eligible for a credit toward a future event. Contact us at javier@apptheunicorn.com to discuss options.
No-Shows and Late Arrivals
No refunds will be provided for:
- Failure to attend the event (no-show)
- Late arrival after event start time
- Early departure from the event
Please plan to arrive on time. Events start promptly at the scheduled time.
Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another individual. The ticket holder (original purchaser or transferor) must provide valid government-issued ID matching the name on the ticket for entry. To transfer a ticket, contact us at rsvp@apptheunicorn.com at least 48 hours before the event with the transferor's full name and email address.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the terms above, please contact:

Include in your request:
- Your full name
- Order/ticket number
- Event name and date
- Reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)
We will respond to refund requests within 5-7 business days.
Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
